Skiwiland – My First Ski School (Coronet Peak Only) is a fully licensed Early Learning Centre that caters for children aged from two to five years. Learning experiences are informed by the NZ ECE curriculum and the centre offers a range of experiences to build confidence that includes playing in the snow and even skiing.

Kids Ski Programmes are available from 10am – 4pm (Coronet Peak & The Remarkables) for children and youths aged 5-15 years. Kids Ski Programmes offer everything your kids need: lift passes, ski or snowboard hire and two daily lessons – ask for ‘Kids Ski Programmes’ under questions.

Day 1 Queenstown

Arrive in New Zealand’s premier ski destination, Queenstown! The scene of family adventures, beauty, relaxation, and entertainment, Queenstown will be a guaranteed hit with the kids. Collect your rental car from the airport and head off to discover the attractive lakeside town, or simply unwind in your accommodation.

Day 2 Queenstown

Once you’ve settled in, it’s time to hit the slopes!

Day one of your 6-Day NZSki Pass includes:

Coronet Peak boasts spectacular roller coaster terrain, making it one of New Zealand’s most exciting ski destinations for snow lovers of any ability.

The Remarkables mountain range is a true alpine experience, offering terrain and facilities to suit everyone from beginners to experts. Snowboarders will find plenty to keep them entertained as well!

NOTE: 

**Your 6-day ski pass is valid for both Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, and your ski days do NOT have to be consecutive. The schedule outlined here is just an example of how you can plan your stay.**

Day 3 Queenstown

Day two of your 6-Day NZSki Pass includes:

Relish in another day of excitement at The Remarkables or Coronet Peak.

After conquering the mountain, experience Queenstown’s nightlife with Après-ski at one of Queenstown’s vibrant bars or restaurants. For an extra-special evening, your kids will love the gondola ride up to the Skyline Restaurant, where they can have a go at the hilltop luge.

Day 4 Queenstown

Day three of your 6-Day NZSki Pass includes:

After having an awesome day on the hill as a family, head back to Queenstown to relax and unwind.

Day 5 Queenstown

Let your muscles rejuvenate with a day of relaxation or family exploration. Queenstown is the adventure capital of New Zealand, and it offers extreme exhilaration with activities on offer like skydiving, jet boating, and bungy jumping.

You can also choose one of the less-extreme activities that take in the stellar scenery of the area–options include cruises on the historic steamer, the TSS Earnslaw; scenic helicopter flights; and backcountry safaris. You can add any Queenstown family activity to your ski package. Ask us for suggestions or tell us what you’d like to check off your bucket list.

Day 6 Queenstown

Day four of your 6-Day NZSki Pass includes:

• Full-Mountain Lift Pass at Coronet Peak or The Remarkables

Fire up those ski legs again and head up the mountain for a great day of family fun at The Remarkables Ski Field or Coronet Peak.

Day 7 Queenstown

Day five of your 6-Day NZSki Pass includes:

• Full-Mountain Lift Pass at Coronet Peak or The Remarkables

Eat, sleep, ski, repeat! Coronet Peak or The Remarkables.

Day 8 Queenstown

Today you can take a day trip to Wanaka (1 hour drive from Queenstown) for a look around, or get a glimpse of the most stunning part of New Zealand on a Dart River Jet Safari (see if you can recognise the valley that starred in Lord of the Rings!).

Day 9  Queenstown

Day six of your 6-Day NZSki Pass includes:

It’s your last day of fun and thrills on the slopes; choose between The Remarkables or Coronet Peak. Last chance to enjoy those amazing views and create family snow adventures!

Day 10 Queenstown

Finish on a high!

Add on a family Queenstown activity of your choice; relax in Queenstown or Arrowtown for the day; add an extra day at The Remarkables or Coronet Peak; or even try night skiing at Coronet Peak.

To get the most out of your family ski holidays to NZ, you can add a day trip to Milford Sound, known as the “eighth wonder of the world.” You’ll never forget the sight of dramatic snow-capped peaks rising from the fathomless depths of the fiord.

Day 11 Depart Queenstown

Drop your rental car off at the Queenstown Airport and leave beautiful Queenstown at your leisure.
