Day 2 Queenstown

Day 3 Queenstown

It’s your choice today. Hit the slopes at The Remarkables or Coronet Peak, or enjoy a spectacular, adventure-filled day in Queenstown.

Day 4 Queenstown

Relax and recover today in beautiful Queenstown.  Enjoy a stroll around the boutique shops, or select any Queenstown activity and add it to your ski package — from scenic flights to 4WD safaris and winery tours, the options are endless.

Day 5 Queenstown

Day three of your 5-Day NZ Ski Pass includes:

• Full-Mountain Lift Pass at Coronet Peak or The Remarkables

Relish in another day of excitement at The Remarkables or Coronet Peak.

Day 6 Wanaka

Driving time Queenstown to Wanaka 70 km / 1 hour

Your next stop is Wanaka. When you arrive in the vibrant, laid-back ski town, check in to your accommodation and get settled in. You can venture downtown to check out the lake and the local shops, or relax in your accommodation while gearing up for your next ski adventures.

Day 7 Wanaka

Driving time Wanaka to Cardrona Alpine Resort 34 km / 45 minutes
Driving time Wanaka to Treble Cone 29 km / 40 minutes

Breathe in the fresh mountain air; it’s time to get your Wanaka mountain mojo on.

Day one of your 3-Day Wanaka Ski Pass includes:

Cardrona is a relaxed and friendly ski area that has been entertaining skiers and snowboarders for 35 years. Explore it all – wide open beginner trails, pristine groomers, fun free-ride terrain, and world class parks and pipes.

Treble Cone is the largest ski field in the Queenstown Lakes District, providing access to 550ha of rideable terrain. You’ll find something for all abilities. Covering a leg-burning 700m of vertical, Treble Cone is recognised for its long runs and uncrowded piste and off-piste trails.

Day 8 Wanaka

Indulge in the rest and recovery options Wanaka has to offer. Enjoy a long, lazy lunch beside the lake, a wine tasting at Rippon Vineyard, or a movie at Cinema Paradiso. For those with energy still to burn, race around the maze at Puzzling World, visit to the National Toy and Transport Museum, test your skills at Crossfire, or take a walk along one of the stunning tracks.

Day 9 Wanaka

Day two of your 3-Day Wanaka Ski Pass includes:

• Full-Mountain Lift Pass at Cardrona Alpine Resort or Treble Cone

Test your skills at Cardrona Alpine Resort or Treble Cone today. If you would like to enjoy some lunch up the mountain this afternoon, both Cardrona and Treble Cone offer a range of cafés and restaurants that will keep your energy levels up!

Enjoy après-ski overlooking the lake in the stunning town of Wanaka after an amazing day up the hill.

In the evening you have the chance to catch a film at Cinema Paradiso, Wanaka’s quirky local theatre (hint: the homemade cookies and ice cream at half time are delicious).

Day 10 Wanaka

Day three of your 3-Day Wanaka Ski Pass includes:

Really explore the mountain today, ticking off trails as you venture around your favourite runs.

Day 11 Tekapo

Driving time Wanaka to Lake Tekapo 198 km / 2.5 hours

Leave Central Otago and travel through the stunning Lindis Pass towards Lake Tekapo.  You will be spellbound by the backdrop as you head past Lake Pukaki, a turquoise glacial lake ringed by staggering mountains.

While in Lake Tekapo, check out the Mt John Observatory and the iconic Church of Good Shepherd. Soothe your legs with a soak at Tekapo Springs Hot Pools, or take a scenic flight over Mt. Cook and the surrounding glaciers.

Stay 1 night in Lake Tekapo.

Day 12 Methven

Driving time Lake Tekapo to Methven 173km / 107 miles , 2.5 hours

Drive from Lake Tekapo to Methven, a tranquil yet vibrant ski village. Enjoy a day out in this unspoilt scenic paradise. With many wonderful walks in the region and a number of excellent local restaurants and cafes, this will be a great day to rest and recuperate.

Day 13 Methven

Day four of your 5-Day NZ Ski Pass includes:

• Full-Mountain Lift Pass at Mt Hutt

It’s time for a day of fun in the snow at Mt Hutt. Just a 35 minute drive from Methven Village, this ski field is renowned for its big snowfall. Great natural snow is captured in its south facing basin; combine that with 75 snow guns, and you are destined for some great sliding!

Day 14 Methven

Day five of your 5-Day NZ Ski Pass includes:

• Full-Mountain Lift Pass at Mt Hutt

Last chance to burn those muscles and make some tracks at Mt Hutt. Enjoy all the ski field has to offer today.

Day 15 Depart Christchurch

Driving time Methven to Christchurch 96km /1.5 hours

Depart Methven and, leaving the Southern Alps behind you, head through the calming Canterbury Plains. When you reach Christchurch, explore the city at your leisure.

Drop off your rental car and depart Christchurch.
