Queenstown Ski Field Childcare 2-5 years: Skiwiland – My First Ski School (Coronet Peak Only) is a fully licensed Early Learning Centre that caters for children aged from two to five years. Learning experiences are informed by the NZ ECE curriculum and the centre offers a range of experiences to build confidence that includes playing in the snow and even skiing.

Queenstown Ski Field Childcare 5-16 years: Kids Group Lessons are available from 10am – 4pm (Coronet Peak & The Remarkables) for children and youths aged 5-15 years.

Wanaka Ski Field Childcare 3 months – 5 years: The Cardrona Ski Kindy (Cardrona Alpine Resort Only) is a fully-licensed early childhood education facility with highly experienced & qualified teachers. The centre caters for children aged 3months up until their 5th birthday, so whether you want your children to experience snow & learn to ski, or are after somewhere snug & comfy for them to hang while you hit the slopes, Cardrona have the perfect place for your family!

Wanaka Ski Field Childcare 5-17 years: Kids Ski Programmes are available from 10am – 4pm (Cardrona & Treble Cone) for children and youths aged 5-17 years. Kids Ski Programmes offer everything your kids need: lift passes, ski or snowboard hire and two daily lessons – ask for ‘Kids Ski Programmes’ under questions.

Day 1 Queenstown

Arrive in New Zealand’s premier ski destination, Queenstown! The scene of family adventures, beauty, relaxation, and entertainment, Queenstown will be a guaranteed hit with the kids. Collect your rental car from the airport and head off to discover the attractive lakeside town, or simply unwind in your accommodation.

Day 2 Queenstown

After you’ve settled in, it’s time to hit the slopes!

Day 3 Queenstown

Day two of your 4-Day Coronet Peak and The Remarkables Ski Pass includes:

After conquering the mountain, experience Queenstown’s nightlife with après-ski at one of Queenstown’s vibrant bars or restaurants.

For an extra-special night, your kids will love the gondola ride up to the Skyline Restaurant, where they can have a go at the hilltop luge.

Day 4 Queenstown

Day three of your 4-Day Coronet Peak and The Remarkables Ski Pass includes:

Day 5 Queenstown

Let your muscles rejuvenate with a day of relaxation or family exploration. Queenstown is the adventure capital of New Zealand, and it offers extreme exhilaration with activities on offer like skydiving, jet boating, and bungy jumping.

You can also choose one of the less-extreme activities that takes in the stellar scenery of the area–options include cruises on the historic steamer, the TSS Earnslaw; scenic helicopter flights; and backcountry safaris. You can add any family Queenstown activity to your ski package. Ask us for suggestions or tell us what you’d like to check off your bucket list.

Day 6 Queenstown

Day four of your 4-Day Coronet Peak and The Remarkables Ski Pass includes:

Day 7 Queenstown

Unwind and relax! Let your muscles rejuvenate with a day of relaxation or family exploration. If you’re feeling adventurous, take a ride on the Shotover Jet, or get a glimpse of the most stunning part of New Zealand on a Dart River Jet Safari (see if you can recognise the valley that starred in Lord of the Rings!).

Day 8 Wanaka

Driving time Queenstown to Wanaka 70km / 1 hour

It’s time to discover Wanaka and all of its beauty!

Today you’ll drive over the stunning Crown Range along New Zealand’s highest state highway. Mountains frame the road, snow dusting their slopes, and there are photo stops aplenty.

When you arrive in the vibrant, laid-back ski town of Wanaka, check in to your accommodation and get settled in. You can venture downtown to check out the lake and the local shops, or relax in your accommodation while gearing up for more family ski adventures.

Day 9 Wanaka

Treble Cone is the largest ski field in the Queenstown Lakes District, providing access to 550ha of rideable terrain. You’ll find something for all abilities. Covering a leg-burning 700m of vertical, Treble Cone is recognised for its long runs and uncrowded piste and off-piste trails.

Test your skills at Cardrona Alpine Resort or Treble Cone today. If you would like to enjoy some lunch up the mountain this afternoon, both Cardrona and Treble Cone offer a range of cafés and restaurants that will keep your energy levels up!

In the evening you have the chance to catch a film at Cinema Paradiso, Wanaka’s quirky local theatre (hint: the homemade cookies and ice cream at half time are delicious).

Day 11 Wanaka

On your day off, indulge in the rest and recovery options Wanaka offers. Take a long, lazy lunch beside the lake, visit Puzzling World or the National Toy and Transport Museum, or take a walk along one of the stunning tracks. For a bit of fun, spend the day at Crossfire, which has clay bird shooting, archery ranges, and a mini putt course.

Day 12 Wanaka

Day three of your 4-Day Wanaka Ski Pass includes:

Really explore the mountain today, ticking off trails as you venture around your favourite runs.

Day 13 Wanaka

Day 15 Depart Queenstown
