Driving time from Queenstown – 1 hour 15 minutes
The Wanaka bus service has a couple of pickup points around town (Edgewater Resort, Club Wyndham, Lakefront Carpark and Cardrona x Treble Cone) – pick up all your gear & passes from Cardrona x Treble Cone Wānaka (50 Cardrona Valley Road) the day before so you can get off the bus & go straight to the lifts! Bookings essential. Seats are subject to availability. Return transport departure time from Cardrona is 4.30 pm.
* Cardrona also offers the Pine Trees Shuttle Service, which transports skiers from 1 km up the Cardrona mountain road to the ski field base, this 1 km is tar-sealed and the shuttle is free of charge. If you would prefer not to drive in the snow, this is a great option.
Cardrona Alpine Resort offer a Cardrona bus service from Queenstown, with 15 pick-up points throughout town to get you up the mountain. You can pick up passes & rental gear from Cardrona Queenstown (37 Camp Street) the night before! Bookings essential. Seats are subject to availability.
Driving time from Wanaka – 25 minutes
Driving time from Queenstown – 1 hour 30 minutes
There is not a dedicated Wanaka to Treble Cone Bus Service. However, here’s a hack: You can meet the bus that comes from Queenstown to Treble Cone at Wanaka’s Rugby Grounds, 15 McDougall Street and also Cardrona x Treble Cone Wānaka (50 Cardrona Valley Road). You need to book and the cost is NZD$55 per adult and NZD$45 per child. Pick up all your gear & passes from Cardrona x Treble Cone Wānaka (50 Cardrona Valley Road) the day before so you can get off the bus & go straight to the lifts! Bookings essential. Seats are subject to availability.
* Treble Cone also offers a FREE Shuttle Service, which transports skiers from the bottom of Treble Cone’s access road to the lifts. Shuttle is free and on a first come first service basis. If you would prefer not to drive in the snow, this is a great option.
Treble Cone offers convenient, great value ski transport from Queenstown to Treble Cone. With 15 pickup locations in Queenstown you won’t be far from a meeting point. Ski buses run every Return transport departure time from Treble Cone is 4.00 pm.
Driving time from Queenstown – 40 minutes
Queenstown Snow Centre Express, NZD$35 per adult, NZD$35 per child (6-15 years), NZD$15 per child (2-5 years), 2 years and under free of charge.
The Snow Centre Express is a daily scheduled service that runs from the NZSki Snow Centre in downtown Queenstown to The Remarkables. Departs the Snow Centre every 30 minutes from 7.30 am until midday. Return departures as buses fill from 1.30 pm. Pre-booking essential.
Queenstown Hotel Pick up, NZD$49 per adult, NZD$39 per child (0-15 years).
