As you wind through the breathtaking Crown Range from Queenstown and then drive alongside Lake Wanaka in all of its winter majesty, you will find yourself at the base of Treble Cone in no time. The legendary off-piste contours provide even the best skiers in the world with exciting challenges. Powder, gullies, bowls, chutes, and drops engulf this stunning field. Test yourself in some of the most revered mountain terrain in New Zealand. If you’re ready for it, the advanced terrain in the Saddle Basin and summit slopes provides a pure snow playground for intermediate and expert skiers.
Lessons
Not forgetting the beginners, offering a range of learn to ski packages, Treble cone provides lift access all season to the ‘Nice n’ Easy’ surface lift, which is located alongside the comforts of the base area. The learners’ area is perfect for beginners. The learners’ platter offers the next step in your skiing advancement. First timer lessons on offer will quickly build your confidence, with small group sizes allowing for personal instruction.
Conquering the slopes or sipping coffee on the deck while those legs enjoy a bit of a rest, you’ll have no shortage of spectacular views over Lake Wanaka and the snow-covered Southern Alps. It truly is breathtaking, with entertainment for the whole family.

Dining at Treble Cone Ski Resort
The mountain offers three dining areas. Treble Cone Base Café is a grab-and-go café at the base of the field, with coffee, wraps, pies, fries, quiches, and soup. The Bar offers a large variety of wine, cider, and beer for you to enjoy after a great time on the slopes.
Southern BBQ – A unique and delicious on-mountain dining experience. Slow cooked meats, served fast alongside burgers, noodles, and a range of healthy salads with options for the kids too.
The Altitude Bar is located at the top of the Home Basin Express. This container café, bathed in sun, offers pizza and a range of cold beer and wine. Loose yourself in the breathtaking view while sipping your coffee here.
